1. Buccaneers, The - Articles of War
With the food ship several weeks from arriving, the meat rations for New Providence have been limited to the sick and the children. The crew of "The Sultana" are tired of eating fish and wish to have some beef. The crew also is upset to learn the prisoners of war are receiving beef, leading some of the men to make plans for releasing the prisoners and pretending to be sick. Things don't go according to their plans and Tempest has to fix things right.
2. Buccaneers, The - Before the Mast
The Spanish blockcade of New Providence has made the food and gunpowder supplies dangerously low. A British ship is enroute to the island to re-supply the settlement and the Spanish captain "El Supremo" intends to stop it. The Spanish sneak aboard "The Sultana", Dan Tempest's ship, and set a fire that forces Tempest to run his ship aground on the beach. Will Tempest and his crew repair "The Sultana" in time to stop "El Supremo" from attacking the supply ship?
3. Buccaneers, The - Blackbeard
A new British governor arrives at the port of New Providence assigned the task of bringing law and order to the British colony. Authorized to grant pardons to any buccaneers swearing alliegiance to the Crown, Governor Rogers faces some resistance from Blackbeard.
4. Buccaneers, The - Blood Will Tell
The nearby island of Gresham Island is cause for concern for the citizens of New Providence. It seems the rightful heirs to the island must be found, otherwise the island and it's harbor will be declared a Free Port. If this happens, the Spanish will surely use the port in their war efforts against the
Crown. It falls upon Captain Dan Tempest to locate the heirs before its too late!
5. Buccaneers, The - Captain Dan Tempest
Governor Woodes finally meets the one man he wishes to reform from buccaneering, Captain Dan Tempest. Tempest holds the sway of the entire colony and his decision to accept the pardon or not would determine if the governor's plans will work.
6. Buccaneers, The - Conquest of New Providence
Upon returning to New Providence, Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The
Sultana" are shocked to see the Spanish flag flying over the fortress. It turns
out that while they were away on patrol, the Spaniards took control of the
colony and have locked up Lt. Beamish and his men. Tempest and his crew must now
try to rescue Lt. Beamish as well as figure out how to remove the Spaniards from
the fort.
7. Buccaneers, The - Conquistador
When "The Sultana" returns to New Providence, the ship attacks a store house
leading everyone to think Captain Dan Tempest and his crew have returned to
their pirating ways. Faced with pressure from landowner Van Brugh, Lt. Beamish
must put out a call for the capture of Tempest. Not everything appears to be as
it seems and Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" must clear their name and
bring the true culprits to justice.
8. Buccaneers, The - Cutlass Wedding
The unmarried women of New Providence are tired of the promises that husbands
are available in the colony, but none of the men are willing to commit to
marriage. The women bring their protest to Lt. Beamish, acting governor, and
present him an ultimatum, either marriages will occur or they will leave the
colony. It looks like Tempest and his men may be in for a surprise, if the women
and Lt. Beamish have their way!
9. Buccaneers, The - Dan Tempest and The Amazons
Captain Delacour, a pirate, takes captive seven women who are from New
Providence and plans to ransom them. What the pirate captain doesn't count on is
the inginuity of the women, who foil the pirates and take command of the ship.
Captain Dan Tempest, attempting to track down the kidnapped women, now must try
to convince the lady sailors to return to New Providence.
10. Buccaneers, The - Dan Tempest Holds an Auction
Captain Dan Tempest heads to Charleston with a cargo of goods from New
Providence looking to sell the goods at a fair price. Upon arrival, he finds the
South Carolina Trading Company is unfairly treating the farmers in the area by
under pricing their goods. Tempest decides to take a hand in arranging for the
sale of his goods and those of the local farmers, in an effort to break up the
monopoly of the trading company.
11. Buccaneers, The - Dan Tempest's War with Spain
Having accepted the King's pardon and deciding to lead a better life, Captain
Dan Tempest finds himself faced with two problems. His first problem is Lolita,
his girlfriend, who has decided to leave him due to his change of lifestyle,
tempting him to reconsider his decision. His second problem is with the Spanish,
who have decided to attack the port of New Providence.
12. Buccaneers, The - Dangerous Cargo
Captain Tempest and his crew are to rendevous with a British warship to
receive some secret orders. Those orders are to take the wife of the governor of
Barbados to meet with her husband. It turns out there is more to this mission
than meets the eye, which places everyone in great danger from the Spanish!
13. Buccaneers, The - Dead Man's Rock
Captain Dan Tempest is order to have "The Sultana" overhauled which will
leave the port of New Providence unguarded, causing him great concern. While the
ship is drydocked, a Spanish man-of-war arrives and begins firing upon the port.
The Spaniards offer to spare the town if Lt. Beamish surrenders himself to them.
It's going to take all of Captain Tempest's buccaneering skills to save both Lt.
Beamish and New Providence!
14. Buccaneers, The - Flip and Jenny
When Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" put into port for
previsions, they end up with a couple of stowaways in Flip and Jenny, two
youngsters. Tempest finds out that Flip and Jenny's father was put into jail for
arguing with the landowner he works for over his children's education. Tempest
and the crew decide to give Flip and Jenny a hand in freeing their father and
forcing the landowner to provide some education for all the children on the island.
15. Buccaneers, The - Gentleman Jack and the Lady
When encountering a Spanish galleon, Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The
Sultana" run across a French frigate commanded by Gentleman Jack. After beating
Gentleman Jack to the galleon, Tempest is surprised to find a mysterious woman
in New Providence demanding he turn over the galleon to her, as owner of the
ship Gentleman Jack commands. What connection does this woman turly have to
"Gentleman" Jack?
16. Buccaneers, The - Ghost Ship
Becalmed in the Sargasso Sea for three days, Captain Dan Tempest and the crew
of "The Sultana" are anixous for some wind. After finally getting underway,
Tempest and his crew discover what appears to be an abandoned ship drifting on
the ocean. Tying up the craft for a tow to port, Gaff and Dickon are placed on
board the derelict, where strange things begin to happen. Is the abandoned ship
haunted or are there other things going on to explain the mysterious noises and events?
17. Buccaneers, The - Gunpowder Plot
The port of New Providence is faced with a problem when Blackbeard raids the
garrison and takes the gunpowder supply. Fearing they will be unable to defend
themselves from attack, Lt. Beamish sends Captain Dan Tempest and his crew to
pick up more gunpowder. When the British naval authorities are unwilling to give
up the gunpowder before they are ordered to, Tempest decides to use some of his
old buccaneering tricks to get the gunpowder.
18. Buccaneers, The - Hurricane
A hurricane hits the colony of New Providence causing trouble and hardship
for everyone. Lacking the funds to rebuilt the colony, Captain Dan Tempest
learns of a Spanish treasure ship that was run aground on a nearby island that
may offer the gold needed for reconstruction. It's a race against the Spaniards
to reach the treasure ship first!
19. Buccaneers, The - Indian Fighters
Captain Dan Tempest and his crew are headed for Charleston to drop off a
passenger, Nathaniel "Understandable" Perkins, an Indian fighter returning to
his home. Upon arriving, "Understandable" Perkins discovers his home has been
burned down and his land seized by some unscrupulous colonial leaders. Tempest
and his crew decide to help their new friend is regaining his land and setting things straight.
20. Buccaneers, The - Instrument of War
Captain Dan Tempest and his ship, "The Sultana", are taking on a secret cargo
from Prisoner's Island, just off shore of the Carolinas. Instead of tar and
pitch as they were expecting, it turns out to be a passenger, David McGregor. It
turns out the prisoners have served out their sentences and the overseer will
not release them. It is the hope of the prisoners that McGregor would be able to
convince the new commissioner at Port Royal to intervene on their behalf.
21. Buccaneers, The - Marooned
While the colony of New Providence is celebrating the King's birthday,
privateer Clip West sneaks ashore and raids the storehouse. It's up to Captain
Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" to track down Clip West and his band
of scurvy dogs!
22. Buccaneers, The - Mistress Higgins' Treasure
Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" make a trip to Virginia to
deliver some goods in secret, to avoid the import duties. Upon arriving, Tempest
meets up with Mistress Higgins, the local schoolmarm, who is looking for help in
retrieving a pirate's treasure. Tempest reluctantly agrees to aid Mistress
Higgins in order to get to the bottom of this treasure story.
23. Buccaneers, The - Mother Doughty's Crew
When crewman Gaff announces he will be leaving "The Sultana" to take a wife
and captain her family's ship, everyone is happy for him. Unfortunately, Gaff
doesn't know the whole truth about his fiancee's family business and that will
put him at odds with his friend, Captain Dan Tempest. When Gaff learns the
truth, he must try to make things right before Tempest discovers the truth.
24. Buccaneers, The - Mr. Beamish and the Hangman's Noose
The arrival of a new governor at the port of New Providence brings some
concern to Lt. Beamish, the acting governor, that he will be sent to another
port. What he doesn't expect is to be charged with piracy and placed into irons.
Captain Tempest is going to have to work hard to prove Lt. Beamish's innocence
and uncover the truth behind the charges!
25. Buccaneers, The - Pirate Honor
Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" make port in Georgetown for
3 days of leave. Tempest warns the crew to stay out of trouble, but trouble
seems to find him. Tempest ends up rescuing a young lad from the authorities,
who is of special interest to Major Langley, an old adversary of his. It turns
out the lad is the son of a captain who buried some treasure and the major wants
his hands on it.
26. Buccaneers, The - Printer's Devil
While in New York, Captain Dan Tempest meets up with Josiah Parkerhouse, the
publisher of "The Truth", a paper that is critical of the colony's rulers. When
the authorities attempt to arrest Parkerhouse and confiscate his press, Tempest
and his crew rescue him and his equipment by taking them aboard "The Sultana".
Sailing off to Cape May, to drop off their unexpected passenger, Tempest learns
that Parkerhouse may be a wanted man there as well. Tempest and his crew must
foil the plans of the authorities in Cape May to allow Parkerhouse to print "The
Truth".
27. Buccaneers, The - Prize of Andalusia
The Marquesa of Andalusia, a Spanish noblewoman, is planning to return to
Spain with the body of her husband for proper burial in the family crypt. She is
approached by a Spanish nobleman with a request to secretly transport a fabulous
treasure back to Spain with her, to avoid the British from taking it. When
Captain Dan Tempest learns of the treasure, it becomes a battle of wits between
him and the Marquesa!
28. Buccaneers, The - The Aztec Treasure
While ashore in the American port of Port Royal, Captain Dan Tempest is
approached by a man named Martin wanting to make Tempest an offer. Martin is
looking for a hidden Aztec treasure and is willing to share it with Tempest and
his crew in exchange for them providing passage to Mexico and help in searching
the jungle. Tempest reluctantly agrees to his offer and everyone is off on a
dangerous adventure!
29. Buccaneers, The - The Decoy
Captain Dan Tempest and his crew are on their way to Charleston with a
valuable cargo of skins, which makes Tempest worry about The Turk, a pirate
patrolling the sea near Cape Fear. After rescuing a woman adrift in a dingy,
Tempest learns from the woman that she and her husband were kidnapped by The
Turk. Doubting her story, Tempest plans on investigating the truth behind his
unexpected visitor.
30. Buccaneers, The - The Hand of the Hawk
Chantey Jack, an old friend of Dickon, arrives in New Providence but turns up
dead after the ship "The Peacock" makes port. Dickon believes the captain of
"The Peacock" has something to do with Chantey Jack's death but he is unable to
convince Dan Tempest and Lt. Beamish. After stowing away on "The Peacock",
Dickon finds himself in trouble and hopes that Tempest can reach him in time.
31. Buccaneers, The - The Ladies
Lt. Beamish informs Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" that a
ship, "The Caroline", carries women bound for New Providence and will arrive
soon. Hearing about this valuable cargo, Blackbeard plans to board the in-bound
vessel and take the women hostage. Tempest learns of Blackbeard's plans and sets
out in a race to get to "The Caroline" first.
32. Buccaneers, The - The Raider
After an attack on the port of New Providence by a pirate ship, Governor
Woodes must set sail to track it down. This will leave the port unguarded,
except for the small garrison of soldiers led by Lt. Beamish, and this worries
Governor Woodes.
33. Buccaneers, The - The Return of Calico Jack
The arrival of Calico Jack to the port of New Providence brings problems to
the crew of "The Sultana". With Captain Dan Tempest in Charleston, Calico Jack
takes advantage of the situation to stir up some trouble. Calico Jack gets Gaff
thrown into jail and looks to steal the cargo from "The Sultana".
34. Buccaneers, The - The Slave Ship
After suffering under the oppression of a cruel landowner, three men who were
working as indentured servants for the landowner decide to escape. Slipping
aboard a ship, the three men learn the vessel is a slave ship with a hold full
of slaves bound for their colony. Taking control of the ship, the inexperienced
sailors set sail with Captain Dan Tempest trying to stop them before their
escape ends tragically.
35. Buccaneers, The - The Spy Aboard
After hearing there are pirates in the vacinity, Captain Dan Tempest and his
crew attempt to bury their profits to prevent them being taken. Unfortunately,
the pirate Peg Leg arrives just in time to take the treasure from them. Tempest
concludes that the only reason Peg Leg knew about where they were is because
there is a spy amongst the crew.
36. Buccaneers, The - The Surgeon of Sangre Rojo
An epidemic has the port of New Providence desperate for a doctor to treat
those suffering from the illness. Captain Dan Tempest knows of a doctor on a
nearby Spanish colony but, with England and Spain at war, it is feared the
doctor will not be allowed to aid them. Tempest decides to secretly enter the
Spanish colony in the hopes he can convince the doctor to come and treat the
sick residents of New Providence.
37. Buccaneers, The - The Wasp
Captain Dan Tempest and his crew find a stowaway on board "The Sultana",
Tempest's ship. Deciding to make the young man his cabin boy, Tempest and the
crew treat him to a hard initiation, all under the guise of good fun. What
Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" don't know is the connection their new
cabin boy has to the pirate Blackbeard and what he has in store for them.
38. Buccaneers, The - To The Rescue
Captain Dan Tempest and his loyal crew arrive at the port of Savannah to meet
up with their old friend, Miss Paula Meadows. It seems her uncle has a valuable
tobacco crop he wishes to sell in Boston to avoid the low payment being offered
to him by the South Carolina Trading Company. Tempest and his crew must remove
the tobacco crop from the royal warehouse and take it aboard ship but, things
don't go according to plan.
39. Buccaneers, The - Whale Gold
Captain Dan Tempest and the crew of "The Sultana" comes across a piece of
ambergris, a valuable substance produced by sperm whales and used in the making
of expensive perfumes. Thinking they have an opportunity for some unexpected
riches, Tempest sails for a nearby island to look for more ambergris. Unfortunately, the search brings out the greed in a few crew members, the type of greed for men to kill to get the treasure.
